The ladders for Autumn/Winter run from 1st September 2026 to 31st March 2027.  Two ladders have not been run since 2020 and they are now back in a different format.  The Jim Reynolds ladder (formerly Thursday evenings) will now be run on Tuesday mornings and the Malcolm Willcock ladder (previously Monday evening) is now a new ladder covering both Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon sessions.  The Don King ladder which was previously only Tuesday morning is now a partnership ladder covering Tuesday and Friday mornings.

Supervised play is the first step out of the classroom - bid and play at your own pace with help when you need. Suitable for students who have completed a few lessons on bidding and want to put what they have learnt into practice. No movement and no recorded scores.  Members £8, visitors £11.  

We are delighted to introduce a new style learning and play session, led by Luiz Lima.  Teacher-Guided duplicate combines the atmosphere and procedures of duplicate bridge with structured teaching and post-play analysis, allowing participants to learn while experiencing tournament conditions in a friendly and low-pressure setting.  The objective of Teacher-Guided Duplicate Play is to provide a supportive stepping stone between supervised learning and regular club duplicate sessions, while also offering a valuable learning experience for existing Supervised and Gentle Duplicate players.

This session will run for an initial 4-week period and will cost £12 per player.
Visitors are welcome: £15.
There is no need to have a partner - but if you wish to play with your regular partner and build your partnership understanding together, please register both players separately.

This session is limited to 12 tables - priority will be given to those who have registered.

New for 2026/7 - there will be a qualifying ladder for the Gullick Cup Club Pairs Championship.  The ladder will include all full duplicate (24+ board) games from 1st October 2026 to 31st December 2026.    Both players must be members.  The average of your best 5 games is taken.  The top 14 pairs will be invited to play in the Championship to be held on 17th January 2027 starting at 12 noon.  This will be a Blue Pointed, all play all event with 39 boards.  Pairs who cannot play on 17th January 2027, please let us know so you can be excluded.  Players who are qualifying twice with different partners, please let us know who you will be playing with.
