The period for all three competitions will end on the the last Tuesday in March.
Results of all sessions played will be included except:
- where there are less than 6 full tables,
- Party bridge is played
- If there is mal-administration
Handicaps are calculated for the previous six months i.e.. April to September.
Players must have at least 10 scores in the handicap period to qualify for the handicapped competitions.
No player can win more than one trophy, The order of precedence will be : Willcott cup, Joan Coombs Trophy; Handicap Shield;

Willcott Cup |
Awarded to the Pair with the best average score over the last year.
Pairs must have attended at least 50% of the qualifying sessions.

Joan Coombs Trophy |
Qualifiers will have attended no fewer than four times less than the player who has attended the greatest number of sessions.
Players scores will be calculated on their X best scores where X is 4 less than the best attendance.

The Willcott Handicap Sheild (pairs) |
Awarded to the pair whose handicap has improved the most over the last six months.
Qualifying pairs must have attended for at least 10 sessions in both the handicap and competition period.

Qualifiers must have attended for at least 50% of the sessions in the competition period.
Players scores will be calculated on their best X handicapped scores where X is half the sessions in the qualifying period.

Same as Joan Coombs Trophy but using handicap scores i.e.:
Qualifiers will have attended no fewer than four times less than the player who has attended the greatest number of sessions.
