Many thanks to Mike Tedd for providing material on the early days of Porthcawl Congress. Our website already contained some information on the more recent years, but there is a huge gap between 1945 and 2008!!  If anyone has any pictures/posters/programmes etc for the intervening years which we could include, then I would be delighted if they could email me.

Regional success at all-Wales Sim Pairs

The results of the Autumn Simoultaneous Pairs held on Monday 5th to Friday 9th September have, of course, been online at the Ecats site for some while, but it seemed only fair to point out how well our area is represented in the upper echelons of the results!  Congratulations to all, and let's try to maximise local competition in these events in future.
