We would like to encourage more players to try out our club - all those people who play regularly in their own homes with friends and/or meet up with friends to play, including students who have learned the basics and would like to stretch their wings.

For this reason we have planned several evenings between now and Christmas when we would like to invite these people to come along on a Thursday evening and see if they would enjoy playing very gentle duplicate bridge in a club atmosphere. We plan to have two groups of players – those who would like to join in with the regular Thursday evening players and another group who can play at a slower pace and not necessarily stay all evening.

The first evening is planned for Thursday 22^nd October, and subsequent evenings for 12^th November and 10^th December. We will start at 7.30p.m. as usual  and there will be a nominal charge of £1 which would include tea or coffee.
