In Memoriam: Norman Hardy
It is with sadness that we have to report that Norman Hardy passed away on 27th April. He was one of the founding members of West Sussex Bridge Club, and will be fondly remembered. His family are in our thoughts.
Norman's funeral service will be held on Wednesday 3rd June at 12:45 pm at All Saints Church in Lindfield. Further details can be found by following this link:

| Membership Renewals Due Now |
Membership renewals for club year 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2027 are now due. Please select Membership Application/Renewal in the main website menu, or click here.
If none of your details have changed since April 2025, enter only the date, your name and email address. Otherwise please also enter any details that have changed since your last renewal. This is necessary to keep our membership database up-to-date. Then pay your subscription using online banking as per the details on the website. Payment is reduced to £10 for subscriptions paid by the end of June. After this date the subscription is £15.

| April Winners |
At the end of each month, winners are awarded prizes for handicapped results based on their best three Tuesday evening sessions played during the month. Please join us in congratulating our April champion, Colin Mallows.
Winners of free plays for any games played during May are Richard Markwick and David Young . Their names were drawn in our monthly prize drawing based on attendance which took place at our evening game on Tuesday, 5th May.

| WhatsApp Group for Finding a Partner |
The WSBC WhatsApp group helps members find bridge partners, complementary to the Find-a-Partner message board here on the website, and members are welcome to use either or both methods to help find either a regular or one-game-only partner. | Monthly Prizes |
In addition to our annual competitions, members may win unlimited free plays based on monthly attendance at face-to-face Club sessions. To be eligible to enter the monthly prize drawing, members must have played at The Old School at least 3 times during the preceding month. Those who have played at least 6 times will have 2 entries to the draw and those who have played at least 9 times will have 3 entries. The draw will take place at the first session of each month before play begins and two winners will be chosen at random on the picker wheel. Winners are then excluded from the following month's prize draw. A list of eligible members for both current and previous months can be seen by selecting Competitions on the menu.
For those members who like to play on Tuesday evenings, a prize is awarded each month based on the handicapped results of at least 3 sessions in the month.
