This Online Pairs League is a league competition for players and friends in Westmorland and Cumbria. It is open to all bridge players in the county, whether they are members of bridge clubs.

Matches will be played online on Bridge Base Online.

The main features of the Pairs League for this schedule are:

1. One Division with any number of  pairs.
2. In the Division, each pair can play every other pair in a Round Robin, the matches are head-to-head.
3. Each match between two pairs consists of 12 boards.
4. Scores are determined when the boards have been played 16 times (see Hand Records)
5. Each match to be scored by IMPs  displayed on BBO Hands when all twelve boards have been completed.
6. After 12 boards the IMPs are converted to Victory Points (VP) using the scale shown below.
7. The winning pair will submit the results using this website.
8. The schedule consists of all the head-to-head matches.
9. The schedule is to be played over six calendar months.
10. All the results will be posted on this website.
11. Additional pairs can join at any time
12. Matches unplayed by the schedule end date will score zero VPs

14. The twenty-ninth schedule will start on Tuesday 1st April matches are to be completed by 30th September
