Daphne's note: A group of 9 of us enjoyed a long-ish ( 5 mile ) walk yesterday starting from the NT car park in Trottiscliffe. We walked through fields bordered by bright yellow rape on one side and bluebells in the woods on the other side. We stopped to admire the view from the Coldrum stones then climbed up to the Pilgrims Way. We then walked along the Downs, and made our way back into Trottiscliffe, stopping at the Plough for coffee, before walking back to the car park.
We kept dry and I think everyone enjoyed it. Here’s to the next one.
