 About the Club :-
West Calder Bridge Club was established in 1972, to further the playing of the game of Bridge in West Calder. A consequence of this is that it has always been friendly to players of lesser ability, and a significant number of its competitions are handicapped - in an attempt to to give everybody a chance of winning glory and a trophy. Details will be found on the main Competitions page.
The Club has been something of a wanderer, at least with regard to its premises. While presently using the West Kirk Hall, we have been supported in the past by the Royal British Legion, the Bowling Club, the Central Bar and, temporarily, the Crofthead Centre in Livingston
MEMBERSHIP is open to anyone with an interest in Bridge, not restricted to residents of West Calder, and of any level of ability.
At the moment there is no annual subscription but Table Money is charged at £3.50 per person.
