The Watford and Bushey Bridge Club needs volunteers to help run the club.
The club is a member’s club and as such is run by a committee of members and helpers for the benefit of all.
I am asking for assistance in the running of the club. We need volunteers for the following positions:

A Marketing Manager
Do we have a member who is proficient at marketing strategies whether that be online or otherwise who can try to increase club membership? Can we use things like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to spread the word of the club?
We have a lack of qualified directors at present and the few we have are not always available to run each session. We therefore need more directors so that we have a sufficient rota of people to cover our face-to-face sessions. The club will happily pay for your director training if we get a commitment back from you to direct some of our face-to-face sessions. The more directors we have the better, as this will spread the load. Please speak to me, David Eddleston, or Richard Banbury (Richard.Banbury@gmail.com) if you are interested.
We are looking for members who will take on the role of Covid-19 Marshal on a rota basis at our face-to-face sessions.
This will involve ensuring a hand sanitiser is in place at the entrance and outside the toilets and that after the session a wipe down of the Chairs, Tables, Boards, and any other main touch points takes place. We envisage that several members will assist in the process.
I very much hope that some of you will step forward and help the club to remain viable and to continue to provide high quality sessions both face-to-face and online.
