Warminster Bridge Club was founded in 1992 and aims to provide competitive but friendly duplicate bridge in pleasant surroundings.  It is affiliated to the English Bridge Union and Wiltshire Contract Bridge Association.

The Club competes for 4 trophies each year. The Baum Cup, named after Carol and Ernie Baum who were the founders of the club, is competed for annually to commemorate the Club's first meeting in March 1992. The Nash Cup, named after Major Jack Nash (one of the first Directors of the Club), is presented to the pair that achieve the highest percentage on our Wednesday meetings throughout the year. The Cambridge Cup is named after Major Peter Cambridge (who was also one of the first Directors) and is presented to the pair that achieve the highest percentage on our Thursday meetings throughout the year. Lastly, the Webb Cup, named after Gayle and Colin Webb (founder members and regular Club players for over 30 years), is awarded to the person or pair who have been judged to have contributed most in the current year.

The Club runs F2F sessions of Club Pairs, which takes place at Bishopstrow Village Hall, commencing at 1pm on Tuesdays. Visitors will be welcomed but please contact Gayle Webb to let her know if you would like to play.
