As more and more of you move on to clubs with unlimited masterpoint games or to ACBL tournaments, you will face an increasing responsibility to understand the Laws and their application.

Whenever you believe that an irregularity has occurred at the table it is always best to call the Director. Some of the Laws can have consequences far different than you might expect and it is the Director's job to sort through possible remedies in order to render each board fair for all players at all tables. And please remember that if the Director is called because of something that you did (or failed to do), that call is not a personal reflection on you. It is simply an obligation of you or your opponent as part of the Laws.
