The Basic Chart will be in effect for limited games up to 50 masterpoints

**ACBL Convention Chart / effective Sept 2019

  1. No food or drink is allowed on the table.
  2. No player may make a ruling at the table. The director shall be called for all irregularities.
  3. Psychic bids(1) while an integral part of bridge, can be considered to be contrary to the spirit of the game.  Actions designed to give the opponents an abnormal opportunity to get a good score, psychs against pairs or teams in contention, psychs against inexperienced players and psychs used merely to create action at the table are examples of unsportsmanlike psychic bidding.  Player utilizing a psychic bid more than once per session will be deemed to be psyching excessively and may be subjected to penalty.
  4. For all open games the number of boards will be a minimum of 24; with a preference for 26 whenever possible; 0-20 games a maximum of 15 boards; 0-50 games a maximum of 18; 0-100 games a maximum of 21/22 depending on the number of tables; 0-200 games a maximum of 24 boards.  Any Rookie/Master format will not exceed 24 boards.
  5. In stratified games, the placement of a pair will be based on the average of the pair’s total masterpoints, and not on the points of the higher ranked player.
  6. Any errors in scoring following the completion of the game MUST be reported within 24 hours to the Game Director. Otherwise, the scores recorded and submitted will be the official record.

(1)Any call that deliberately and grossly misstates either honor strength or suit length is by definition a psych or a bid that bears little resemblance to a logical choice for the hand in either a natural sense or as a conventional or systemic partnership agreement.”
