Claire and Harry Weisz started the Valley View Bridge club in 1962.  Gerrie Owen started playing at the club in 1970.  In 1996 she started a new bridge club with the same name.  Since then Gerrie has been teaching and running a full time bridge club. The club started in 1996. Prior to COVID there were games 7 days a week. Currently  she has games 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Sunday) and classes Twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Valley View would like to build up the Monday games for the 499ers AND bring back the Sunday 499er game.  We are offering a FREE Play for the Monday game if you play in the Sunday game. We would like to build another game for you to play with other 499ers. 

The games on Sunday start at 12:30pm and are directed by Kathy Carr and Reg Watt.  Come join them on Sunday and play for FREE on Monday!

When to Use That Scary Red X Card, Cue Bids plus Tools for the Defense and Declarer?  So many different meanings when we see that Red X card come out of the Bid!  What should you do? ♠ Prepaid Punch Cards ♠ 

For your convenience, Valley View Bridge Club is offering a Prepaid Punch Card to be used for VVBC games.  You will receive10 games for $100.  An $11 savings to you.  Note: There are a few ACBL-wide special games each year where the ACBL charges extra; therefore, we will not be able to accept the punch card; however, if you choose, you can use your card and pay the extra $1.  With that said, the punch card should not be use for the VVBC Sunday Unit 176 games as these games are only $10/pp. See one of the directors to purchase your Prepaid Punch Card.
