Sadly we lost a dear friend in Don MacMillan. While in transit to the hospital he died of cardiac arrest. He had fought so valiantly through very difficult medical issues - our prayers are with him and his family.

Convention Card Policy And Signature Requirements |
Travelers and/or pickup slips must be signed off by the East/West players. Failure to do so endangers revision request rights!!!
The ACBL requires both members of a partnership to have completed convention cards. should only one member have a completed card the partner must complete one asap. also, should neither member of a partnership have a completed convention card the pair will only be allowed to play the Standard American "Yellow Card" (a copy of which is at the game sites) with no add-ons!!!
Should a partnership in the context of a hand discover they do not have an agreement on a specific issue, the director should be called and the partner will be asked to share with the opponents how he will treat partners action (out of the presence of the partner as this information is for the opponents, only). And, at the completion of play of that specific hand, the partnership is required to form an agreement on the issue before proceeding to the next hand.

Zero tolerance |
The ultimate purpose of the Z-T policy is to create a much more pleasant atmosphere in our games. We are attempting to eradicate unacceptable behavior in order to make the game of bridge more enjoyable for all.
Below are some examples of commendable behavior, which, while not required, will significantly contribute to the improved atmosphere:
- Being a good 'host' or 'guest' at the table.
- Greeting others in a friendly manner.
- Praising the bidding and/or play of the opponents
- Having two clearly completed convention cards readily available to the opponents (This one is a regulation, not just a nicety)
We enforce the zero tolerance policy as suggested by ACBL
The following list shows some examples of behavior which will not be tolerated:
- Badgering, rudeness, insinuations, intimidation, profanity, threats, or violence.
- Negative comments concerning opponents' or partner's play or bidding.
- Constant and gratuitous lessons and analyses at the table.
- Loud and disruptive arguing with a director's ruling.
If a player at the table behaves in an unacceptable manner, the director should be called immediately. Annoying behavior, embarrassing remarks, or any other conduct which might interfere with the enjoyment of the game is specifically prohibited by Law 74A. Law 91A gives the director the authority to assess disciplinary penalties.
