Bruce traveled to the Wilsonville sectional and earned enough silver master points to become an advanced NABC Master. Special thanks to Heather Breckenridge, Christina Vanderliet, and Denise McElney who traveled with Bruce to make this possible.

Player Profile - Heather Breckenridge
Player Profile - Heather Breckenridge

Heather Breckenridge comes to us from the Portland Bridge Club. There she was paid to run hospitality for the clubs games. She also started teaching people bridge there.

Since coming to our bridge club she has been a big contributor to the club. She handles the hospitality at the club, along with her husband Brian she directs 2 games a month, and more recently she has been teaching at the club on Tuesday.

Last week while at the Palm Springs Tournament, she became a silver life master. Congratulations, Heather on this accomplishment.

I particularly enjoy Heather’s disposition and with her constant smile I have given her the nickname “Smiley”.

Unit 484 had 1 pair entered into each of the 3 flights of the North American Pairs Competition for District 20.

In Flight A, Molly Tinsley & Kemble Yates placed 4th in morning session and 1st in afternoon session to finish 1st overall. This gives them the opportunity to represent district 20 at the national North American Pairs competition. I learned this past week they will not be going because Molly’s hand surgery has been rescheduled.
