Unit Championship games will be on the second Tuesday of the month except for December which will coincide with the Christmas party on December 3rd. The Club Manager (Kemble Yates)  secured sanctions for these games for the next 5 months. The specific dates are Nov 12, Dec 3, Jan 14, Feb 11, Mar 11. We intend to continue to do this but these are the only dates we have secured sanctions on.

Club Championship games have been scheduled for 2025. In general these games are scheduled on the first Tuesday or Friday of the first 2 months in the quarter. There are a few exceptions for when these dates coincide with holidays or local tournaments. The schedule for Tuesday’s games are 1/7, 2/4,4/1, 5/6, 7/1, 8/5, 10/7, 11/4. The schedule for Friday’s games are is 1/3, 2/14, 4/4, 5/2, 7/11, 8/1, 10/10, 11/7. These have been placed on the calendar

Starting on October 22, Heather Breckenridge will be teaching classes on Tuesday before the game starting at 11:45. As some of you know Heather offers private classes but she will be teaching on Tues. The fee will be $10 per class. The first class will be on No Trump ranges and the topics will be posted on the calendar.

Ed Rais is doing Bridge Classes focused on Larry Cohen’s top 12 Bridge Conventions that should be in your Deck. There will be no class on 8/29 and these will move to Friday at 11:45 at the Masonic Temple. Ed started these a few weeks back and I have attended 2 classes and have learned something both times. Ed is only charging $5 for a hard copy of the material. This is a real bargain.
