Unit 246 is a not for profit organization with a calendar year: September 1st to August 31st.  We file annual tax returns with Canada Revenue Services and our financial statements are reviewed by an arms length individual.

Our financial objective is preservation of the funds therefore we are 'risk averse'. We invest any excess funds in a G.I.C; maximizing the interest rate. Funds are used to support events in our unit such as Tournaments, Education and Teaching.
