UNIT Board Minutes  -  May 30, 2024

Present:  Carolyn Sabroske, Carolyn Miller, Tom Olsson, Nancy Wilson, Joyce  Halverson, Faith Garnaas, Leslie Heimbach, Ann Olsson, Bea Cannon

President Carolyn Sabroske called the meeting to order at 10:30.

Treasurer’s report:  Carolyn reported the results of the April Sectional.

OLD BUSINESS

The Medallion is scheduled for June 1, 2024. It will be a potluck, with Open and 0-500 sections.  The game will be free and covered by the unit. Gregg will direct.

The 2025 Regional will be held June 24-28 at the Holiday Inn on Merle Hay.  Motel Room rate will be $109.  Ann Olsson and Bea Cannon did a lot of research to get a better hotel deal.  The flyer and schedule should be available soon.

 NEW BUSINESS

The August Stars of Tomorrow Tournament will be held Friday and Saturday, August 23 and 24. Carolyn Sabroske will be looking for a Tournament Chair.

Mentoring will be planned for September and October. Nancy will help coordinate.9

The Fall Harvest Sectional is scheduled for September 27-28  .

The meeting was adjourned.  The next meeting will be August 12, 2024 at 10:30.
