Brightleaf Spring Sectional Award

Peggie Stokes Award

This award is in memory of long-time Unit 191 member, Peggie Stokes.  It is awarded to a Unit 191 Future Life Master who has fewer than 500 master points, plays with at least two partners in the Brightleaf Fall Sectional, and wins the most masterpoints in that tournament.

Congratulations to Kay and Randy Joyce for winning the Senior Mixed Pairs at the NABC in Louisville, KY.  The took first place in the four-session event, winning 80 platinum master points, and becoming Grand Life Masters.

Congratulations to Kay and Randy Joyce for winning the November 2022 ACBL District 7 North American Pairs Finals.  They earned 32 gold points and will move on to the National tournament at the Spring NABC in New Orleans.

Congratulations to Chris Moll and his partner, Russell Samuel on winning a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!   On March 12, 2022, they won the Leventritt Silver Pairs Event in the NABC tournament in Reno, Nevada with a 62% game earning 100 platinum master points in their start at the national tournament.

Congratulations to Unit 191 member Jacek "Pepsi" Pszczola for being named as the ACBL 2019 Player of the Year.  The award goes to that player earning the most platinum points in 2019- Pepsi earned a total of 834.16.

Congratulations to 2019 Unit 191 Championship Week champions: Kay Joyce (open) and Paula Head (NLM).  The Unit Championship Award is given to a Unit 191 player (Open award and NLM award) who has the highest 2-game percentage while playing in Unit 191 Clubs.

Congratulations to Rose Meltzer for winning the Keohane North American Swiss Teams event at the 2019 Fall NABC.  Rose received 160 platinum master points for the win.

Congratulations to Chris Moll for winning the 2019 Hugo Germino Award.  The award goes to the player winning the most master points playing with at least two different players at the Summer Sectional.

Congratulations to Joyce Jenzano.  Joyce was selected as the 2019 Unit 191 nominee for the ACBL District 7 Goodwill Nominee competition.  Thanks for all you do for us, Joyce.  Good luck in the district competition.
