With your help, over the past three years we have raised over £5,000 for u3a-recognised charities such as Alzheimer's Research UK,  AgeUK, Parkinson's UK and Cruse UK (Bereavement Support).

This year our chosen charity is Macmillan Cancer Support.

There has been a change in the method of donating 

This year we are asking you to donate directly to MacMillan Cancer Support using the Just Giving website.

Gift Aid:

Be aware that only personal donations should be Gift Aided - and of course that to agree to Gift Aid you must pay sufficient tax. Please don't agree to Gift Aid unless the donation is coming from a personal account and from you personally.

"Tips" to JustGiving (not needed !)

When you make your donation JustGiving will suggest that you add a tip - and the slider doesn't got down to zero! However, all is not lost - if you click the Enter custom amount link (outlined in red below) you can set it as zero. Which means that your whole donation goes to the charity which is obviously what you will want.

BACs Payments

There are links to the various banks where BACs payments can be made directly. Not all banks are there but quite a lot are so you may be able to donate by BACs if that helps. And I know one or two clubs where two "signatories" are required have been able to do it.

Credit Card / Debit Card Payments

Those are easy-peasy !

Receipts

You will be given the option of getting a receipt emailed to you - quite useful !
