You will be able to find our games on BBO 2 hours before the scheduled start time..  Please log into BBO EARLY with your user name and password.  You will see their Home Page with lists all the different areas to visit.  Please click on the one titled "Competitive", and when the next window comes up, click on "ACBL Virtual Clubs".  Scroll down the listing until you come to Tucson Country Club, or search Tucson.  If you can't find the game go the the home page and click on "Competetive" when the next window comes up cick on "All Tournaments"  At the very top of that window you will find a search box. Enter Tucson in the field and tge Tucson Counttry Club game will be in that list. Click on that game and Register.  Your partner must be on line to accept your invitation so please coordinate a time you will both arrive in BBO.

♥  If you would like to recieve masterpoints you might want be a member of ACBL and pay their fees:  Here is the Application You can also join as a Guest for 120 days.

♥   Current ACBL Members:  If you are already a member of ACBL, your member number must be listed in your BBO account.  You can check to see by logging into BBO, and clicking "ACBL World" on the home page, that will open a window with the games that are currently running.  At the bottom of that window is a button titled: "Add your ACBL Number". That button will bring up a window where you can either add your ACBL number, look at the number that is connected to your BBO name, and update it if necessary. Enter you ACBL number in that field if you do not have one and click on "Update".

♥   BB$:  Our table fees are $5 so you need to deposit money to your account. See Tutorials.  Your fees won't be deducted from your BB$ until you are seated at the table and the game has started. 

♥  Register to play:  Please register early.  If your partner isn’t online to accept your invitation to play, the registration is NOT processed and accepted. 

♥  Partnership Desk:  If you don't have a partner, go into our game on BBO to reserve, but click on partnership desk and add your name.  When the next player comes in, they can choose you as their partner and you have the option to accept or reject their invite.

♥   Robots are allowed for sitouts only:  If there is a half table, our director will subsitute robots, however, they will be ineligible to receive points.

♥   Self Alerts:  In the BBO bidding box, there is an area to alert.  You must alert your own bids and only the opponents will see your alert.  Your partner will not.  If you must ask about a bid, please click on their bid, a box will pop up with an area to explain -- do not ask the entire table.  Alert Chart remains the same as when you alert for your partner.

♥   Claims:  Please be sure to claim when outcome is obvious.  A claim button will appear at the left bottom of the board window.

♥   Games Start:  Games start exactly on time!  You must be logged into BBO when it starts or you will be unregistered.  You will hear cards dealing and your hand will appear

♥   BBO ID:  Since we are playing against members from our Club, many players want to know who their opponents are.  It would be very nice for everyone to put in their "real names".  Please log into BBO and update your profile to include your name if you are willing.

♥   Convention Cards:  ACBL now requires you and your partner to have a convention card. You may have as many convention cards as you like! (usually 1 for each different partneri)  In the Account tab, click on Convention Card at the top. Please make sure your card reflects exactly what you play with your partner. Please make sure you enter your partners name in the partner box or your convention card will not be available to your opponents in the game. You can view your opponents convention card during the game by clicking on the "blue box with 3 white lines" in the upper left corner of your table.

♥   NO Undos:  In our Club, sometimes we know a bid was a "slip of the thumb".  In BBO, you cannot undo any bids or play.

♥  Slow Play:  If you haven't finished your board when the clock reaches "0", that board will disappear and the next one will appear.  The system assigns a score for that board.  The computer does a great job

♥   Unsolicited Lessons:  Please be very careful not to use chat to give someone instructions.  If they need help, they should call the director.

♥   Call Director:  There is a blue box with 3 white lines in it at the top left of your screen.  Click on that box and hit call director!

♥   Frozen Screen:  If your screen is frozen so you can't see your cards, bid or play, please leave BBO and come right back in again.  Your place at the table will be waiting for you.

♥   Reboot or Clear Cookies:  Before every game, please be sure your cookies won't interfer.

♥   Casual vs Competitive:  You MUST be in the "competitive" area of BBO in order for the system to "see you" and bring you into our games.

♥   Suspicious Activity at Table:  If you feel there is communication between partners at the table, you can report to ACBL directly using this form.
