The Club committee is promoting the image of a welcoming club as is portrayed by the rising club membership. However, we also have a duty to ensure bridge starts and finishes on time and therefore there is a need to have a clear late arrivals procedure.

If a pair travelling together or one half of a pair are held up in traffic, then please call the club number 07561 129015 indicating how late the anticipated time of arrival will be and providing that arrival is expected before the end of the first round of play, a place will be reserved.

Player or players arriving after 6.50pm will be accommodated if the movement allows and the adjustment does not delay the commencement of play.

However, if this is not possible the committee (via the host) will support the director in their decision to go ahead without the late player(s).

We are sure that all members appreciate the need to ensure that competitions are run on time.
