1. Information We Collect

When you use TNBA's membership form or WhatsApp bot, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• WhatsApp / mobile number
• Postal address, locality, city and PIN code
• BFI Player ID and BBO ID
• Occupation
• Payment details (date, transaction ID, amount)
• Bank details (only for prize money claims)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Process and verify TNBA membership renewals and new registrations
• Send confirmation emails and WhatsApp notifications
• Maintain the TNBA member directory
• Transfer prize money to your bank account
• Send event reminders and calendar updates

3. WhatsApp Bot

The TNBA WhatsApp bot responds to membership queries using your registered WhatsApp number. Your number is used only for identity verification and sending TNBA-related notifications. We do not share your number with third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Google Sheets accessible only to authorised TNBA office bearers. Payment transaction IDs are stored for verification purposes only.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any third party. Data is shared only with:

• BFI (Bridge Federation of India) for player registration purposes
• Google (as our data storage provider)

6. Data Retention

Your membership data is retained for the duration of your TNBA membership and for a period of 3 years thereafter for record-keeping purposes.

7. Terms of Service

By submitting the TNBA membership form or using the TNBA WhatsApp bot, you agree that:

• The information you provide is accurate and complete
• TNBA may contact you via email or WhatsApp for membership-related communications
• Membership is subject to verification and approval by TNBA office bearers
• Fees paid are non-refundable once membership is confirmed

8. Data Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, please email us at treasurer.tnba1@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and your full name and registered mobile number. We will process your request within 30 days.
