WELCOME TO THIRSK BRIDGE CLUB WEBSITE

F2F play will recommence at the Community Hub in Sowerby Gateway on Tuesday 25th January and we hope as many friends will join us at 6.45 for a 7pm prompt start to play.

Thirsk Bridge Club was founded in 1977 to promote bridge in the Thirsk district by regular club duplicate bridge evenings. The club is affiliated to the English Bridge Union (EBU) and to the Yorkshire Contract Bridge Association (YCBA). It participates in the YCBA League  and in the EBU Master points scheme.

Our new venue is The Community Hub at Orchid House, Sowerby. The entrance and parking is just beyond the carpark for Aldi using the Community Hub entrance. All very easy access in a spacious ground floor space.

Old and new members/players are assured of a friendly welcome .

Bridgebase online Tournaments

If you are unable to play face to face, there will be an online tournament: North Yorkshire Charity Pairs run by Robert on Thursdays starting 18.45 to which all Thirsk  members are invited to play. This will be 1 BBO$ per player with proceeds going to charity.

PLEASE NOTE - Jack (under the Thirsk umbrella) runs a tournament on BBO -Tuesday afternoons at 2pm for U3a, which is open to anyone. You just need to register with BBO, purchase BBO$, and let Jack know your username via the contact us link. Entry 50c (about 35p)
