THAKEHAM BRIDGE CLUB |
This popular bridge club was founded in 1980 by four friends who played bridge socially and then decided to form a formal club. The club now has a membership of over one hundred enthusiastic players who enjoy the challenge and reward of the game.
We meet on: (i) Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm, usually for teams and (ii) Friday afternoons at 1:20pm for duplicate pairs. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before play commences. Visitors are most welcome but no standby partners are provided. However, should you need a partner please contact Harold Linfield on (01798) 812276.
Last week on Wednesday 3/8/22 and Friday 5/8/22 the club played its first set of boards that were created using our new dealing machine. We hope that this important new development will benefit all members and further enhance the enjoyment of the game at our club. We would like to thank Brian Spears for his lead role in providing the club with this new resource.
