Rules of Entry for Major Club Competitions
Boland Trophy/Kennedy Cup/O'Leary Trophy
Pairs - Rules of Entry
- Club Members only
- In order to be eligible for 1st overall prize a duly entered pair must play all sessions of the competition without a substitute
- Each member must have played a minimum of 3 times to be eligible since 1st September of that bridge year
Community Cup/Junior Cup/Templeogue College Cup
Teams - Rules of Entry
- Club Members only
- Teams can be entered as a team of 4, 5 or 6 and entrants can play in either session
- Each entrant must have played a minimum of 3 times to be eligible since 1st September of that bridge year
EILEEN FANNIN MEMORIAL TROPHY (Individual)
Pairs - Rules of Entry
- Club members only
- To be eligible a club member must have played with a different club member on each night
- The allocation of points for this competition will be as follows:
- 1st place 10 points
- 2nd place 8 points
- 3rd place 6 points
- 4th place 4 points (8+ tables)
- 5th place 2 points (10+ tables)
- If there is a tie for 1st place the tie will be broken by the average %age of results gained on each night
- Each entrant must have played a minimum of 3 times to be eligible since 1st September of that bridge year
DAN AND MARY MORIARTY MEMORIAL CUP (Pairs)

REGARDING ALL MAJOR COMPETITIONS – IN THE CASE OF EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES THE COMMITTEE CAN DECIDE TO WAIVE SOME OF THE RULES OF ELIGIBILITY
