Beginning Bridge

.A course of 20 two hour lessons, in Tunbridge Wells and Hildenborough, with  breaks for bank holidays, from Monday 19th February 2007

  • Monday 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm at Hildenborough Village Hall

  • Monday 7.45 - 9.45 at Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club

The course is designed for anybody who wants to have fun, learn an enjoyable hobby and make new friends. No experience of bridge or other card games necessary.

This is a very hands-on course and you will be playing mini-bridge, a simplified form of the game, by the end of the first lesson.

We will then, by following the English Bridge Union developed programme, Bridge For All, take you through the basics of the game.

Continuing Bridge (Intermediate)

A course of 20 two hour lessons, at Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club, with a one week break at Easter

  • Wednesday 7.45 pm – 9.45 pm from 7th March 2007

  • Thursday 10 am – 12 noon from 8th March 2007

A second level course for anybody who has completed the Beginning Bridge Course or a similar first level course. It is also ideal for Bridge players who have not played the game for some years and consequently are a bit rusty.

We start with a revision of the basics, after which you will learn how to deal with more complicated bidding and play situations. Again a hands-on course, we will again be following the Bridge for All programme.

Personal Coaching and Private lessons

We can also offer small group coaching ranging from complete beginners up to average club players wishing to move forward.

Ideally, the teaching is suited to groups of four, either at the club or a venue of your choice. If there is anything that interests you, please contact Bridge For Fun. We can often make up groups, so even if you are less than four it is still worth making contact.
