  Code of Conduct

This is not rocket science ... participants are expected to behave un an ethical manner and keep their chit-chat and body language to polite, profressional, and amicable. There are 2 phases to this module:

  1. During game
  2. Post game

Let's look at conduct/expectations by phase first ...

Code ♠   ♣  Phase
Participants are expected a head-and-shoulders view at all times when their video is on. 1
Facial expression is to be neutral at all times, similar to what one sees at the table when playing in the club. ♣  1
Participants are free to chat about what they want whevener they want 2
Discussion about the round when a round finishes ♣♣  1
Discussion about the auction after a board has been played ♣♣♣  1
Pleasantries of the day at any time 2
Pleasantries of the day when a round has finished 1
Chat with people at other tables any time  2
Chat with people at other tables when BOTH tables are done a round 1

Notes in the above

This is exactly the same as when we are playing face-to-face (F2F) and therefore are not news to anyone:
♣
Facial expressions, other that neutral, may involve the giving of unauthorized information, therefore prohibited.

♣ ♣

This as well could impart unauthorized information to your partner AND slows down play.

♣ ♣ ♣
Defenders are strictly prohibited from discussing an auction until a board has been played. Since the dummy is prohibited from participating in the play, so is the declaring side.

  Violating code of conduct

Since this is not going to happen, there is no need to outline what may or may not happen ...
