PAUL JONES |
For the Paul Jones Competition, teams should not contain more than two players with an average of more than 52% during the past twelve months from the date the event was previously played. The cut off date is three clear weeks before the competition. This allows players to sort out their team mates without a last minute change being required. If you wish to play and appear in the Non-Qualifiers, this doesn't exclude you, but it means you haven't played three times during the past twelve months - the number required to give a fairly accurate average - then speak to Colin and he will arrange a realistic average for you.

KENNEDY PLATE. |
The Kennedy Plate - to be played on Friday 10th. November 2017 - is open to any pairs currently Five Star Master and below. Because of the intricacies of setting up a competition, I can't set up this event to get a finalised result on the night. Various items need to be checked. The rankings are now downloaded directly onto Bridgewebs and will be up-to-date.
You can find your partner's EBU ranking by clicking here. Don't forget, if you've been promoted to Regional Master during this current year you will still be eligible to play. However, everyone is very welcome to come and join in. This event is designed to give less experienced players a chance of holding that cup!

DILWORTH CUP...CLUB PERCENTAGE. |
In order to qualify for our Club Percentage 2014 - The Dilworth Cup - members must play with at least three different partners over the season. Furthermore only three scores with a given partner will be counted. The percentage is gained from the results in our Club Percentage nights, which are designated dates throughout the season from January to September. The best seven scores from fifteen will count. If your name doesn't appear, you are classed as a non-qualifier, and you can check how you're doing by clicking on 'non-qualifyers' at the top right of the tabs. If 'Partner exceeded 3 ignored' appears, you have played with that partner more than three times and your lowest scores with that partner will not be included in the competition.
