Welcome to the Tally Ho Bridge Club (established 1993)
Virtual AGM

Season's greetings everyone. I hope you are all well and looking forward to a better 2021.

Sadly during the last few months Marian has had to stand down as Secretary having worked so hard over a few difficult years to ensure the club's survival. Many thanks and best wishes go out to her and hopefully she can enjoy some bridge at the club when we are able to reopen.

Many of you are playing bridge on line which has proved to be very successful but like most people Dave and I are looking forward to real bridge soon (or even a holiday!).

I will send an e-mail to everyone about a special general meeting to defer our AGM until such a time when we can meet in person. It would be really helpful is members could respond to that too.

I will also be standing down as Chair person after four years on the committee as Dave and I are hoping to move out of Colchester in the near future.

Keep Safe everyone

Linda Powell

On Line Bridge

I hope you are all well and coping with lock down the best you can. Re-opening the bridge club seems a long way off at the moment.

Dave and I are playing on “Fun Bridge” each day. You can do just 5 hands in a Suffolk Tournament and challenge each other. It’s good fun.

The web site is

Another site we’ve been playing on is Bridge Base Online

The EBU has competitions on here about 4 times a day. You can play with a partner (remotely if you wish) or a robot.

First for Bridge the holiday company is also using this site for tournaments.

If you’d like to know more get in touch (

If you’ve found other good sites I’m happy to share them.

Keep Safe

Linda Powell🌈
