End of Season Prizes

Thanks to everyone who was able to come to the last bridge evening at the Morangie yesterday, it is lovely to see everyone in person.

Whyte Cup

Well done to winners Ian & Stephen, followed by Eliz & Stuart.
And to those who called and made the slams:
Moira & Phil, Stephen & Ian, Anne & Linda, all in 6NT on board 14 with Phil and Moira taking all 13.
Anne & Linda on Board 11 - 6NT.

Thanks to Maureen for doing the scoring, despite being under the weather.

Congratulations to the winners of the team competition for the Millenium Cup, Ian, Stephen, Susan & Gordon on +39.  Second were Morag, David, Linda & Anne R on -3, then Ann M, Ann L, Sara and Phil on -12 and Maureen, Moira, Eliz and Stuart on -24.

The Whyte Cup for the best average of 12 scores over the season was very closely contested.  In third were Susan & Gordon on 58.16, second were Maureen & Moira on 59.15 and the winners on 60.05 were Ian & Stephen.  Well done all.

Easter Pairs 25th March

Results will appear in eCats here:

https://www.ecatsbridge.com/sims/results.asp?eventid=003847

A very strong showing from Ian and Stephen who finished runners up in the Wednesday clubs and with 65.95% could well be in the top 5 nationally (though the top 3 pairs all managed to scrape above 70%).  We await official results ... but congratulations to them anyway.  This on top of Ian's triumph in the annual Bronze-Silver Swiss Pairs a couple of weeks ago, playing with Gary Coombe.
