Hand of the week board 15

South is the dealer and will open 1NT if playing 12-14 HCP. West will certainly double this. He has 23 HCP and 8 tricks in his hand. North will attempt to rescue this. There are numerous ways to do this. The simplest is Exit Transfers where North bids XX. This redouble shows a hand with 5 Clubs and less than 5 or 6 HCP. When South completes the rescue by bidding 2 Clubs what should West do? He knows that his partner has very few ponts so I would take the bull by the horns and bid 3 NT. This is a winning move as 2 Clubs is just about making.
