KK BHATNAGAR MIXED PAIRS TROPHY

Dr Krishna Kant Bhatnagar was born in Kanpur on 13 th May 1929. He completed his MBBS Degree from King George Medical University in Lucknow and went to England to do his FRCS. He returned to Kanpur and started teaching at GSVM Medical College where he was a Professor in the Department of surgery

Dr KK Bhatnagar was a skilled and accomplished surgeon and an excellent diagnostician. He was past President of the UP Chapter of Surgeons and practised surgery till he was well over 80 at Mariampur and McRobert Hospitals in Kanpur. He was the epitome of philanthropy and generosity, often treating poor patients without charge.

He was a keen Golfer and was the past Captain of the Kanpur Golf Team and was a keen Bridge player and he played Bridge almost every day. He took an interest in furthering the cause of Bridge and was the past President of the Kanpur Bridge Association.

Above all, Dr KK Bhatnagar was an honest, fearless and upright person, forthright with his views and opinions. In many ways a legend in the community, he will be remembered with fondness and gratitude by his numerous patients and well-wishers.
