Instructions for entry to SCBA AGM

Register your interest in attending the AGM and playing in the virtual AGM Pairs via the registration form on the website (click REGISTRATION)

Once registered a ZOOM link inviting you to attend the AGM on Sunday 21^st June at 2pm will be emailed to you

In advance of the meeting

If you are a new to Zoom, download the application in advance and install on your device by clicking on ZOOM 

During the meeting you will be asked to vote by using the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ Zoom controls and you may wish to ask questions using the ‘chat’ function. Familiarising yourself with these ahead of the meeting would be helpful.

During the meeting

During the AGM you will be muted, unless the host unmutes you to raise or answer a question. You will not be able to unmute yourself.

You can ask questions at anytime using the chat function or you can raise a hand in front of your camera when you wish to speak.

When voting, click once on the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ function, the icon will be highlighted next to your name. There is no need to click again to remove the vote, the icons will be cleared by the host once voting has finished.

BBO AGM Pairs

Once registered you will need to purchase BB$ before play. When purchasing $BB we strongly advise you to do so through the BBO website and not through an app on a smartphone or tablet due to the hefty surcharge applied. Help regarding all aspects of BBO play can be found by clicking on ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BBO 

The AGM pairs will start at 3.30pm. Enter the tournament on completion of the AGM and at least 10 minutes before the start of play.

• To enter login to BBO  - Click on ‘Competitive’ then ‘All Tournaments’
• In the search box search for ‘EBU_SUF’ 
• The search should produce our event  vEBU_SUF AGM Pairs
• Click on the title, enter your partner’s username and click ‘Invite’ (if your partner has already registered and invited you, you will receive an ‘Accept Invitation’)
• Provided you and your partner are still both online, you will both be seated at a table and play will commence
• Your BB$3 entry fee will be refunded by the SCBA
