Stoke Poges Bridge Club

The Annual Lunch will be on Monday March 9th. We are doing something different this time. The food will be catered for by Ann Tennant and will be served at long tables in St. Andrews Hall from about 12.30.

As usual the lunch is provided free to fully paid up members who have attended several times. Food choices will be given on Monday and you will be asked to sign up then. I will also put the choices on this page and you can let me know them if you wish to. You will have a to choose a main course. A selection of desserts, wine and soft drinks will also be available but do not need to be chosen.

There will be bridge afterwards at 1.30pm. The tables can be put up round the room ready to play. I hope a lot of you will be able to come.

WINTER 2019/20

As you have noticed it is difficult to maintain an equable temperature in St Andrew's Hall.

Do bring suitable clothes that can be added or removed as necessary.

Welcome to Stoke Poges

Welcome to the Stoke Poges Bridge Club website.  We are located in the heart of the village. Playing in the main hall of St Andrew's Church, Rogers Lane. Turn into Rogers Lane by the Village Hall and go along to the car park for St. Andrews, which is on THE LEFT.

The club opened in January 2008 and welcomes players of all standards.  We are very friendly and have attracted players from the village and from further afield.  Playing on Monday afternoons from 1.30pm - 5pm, we complement other clubs in the South Bucks area operating on alternative weekdays.

St Andrew's has ample on site parking with bus stops close by for those using the local network.

We welcome players to come and give us a try.  We will always organise a partner for visitors so do not be afraid to turn up on your own.  Your first visit is completely free.  We stop for a short break half way through the afternoon to recharge our batteries with light refreshments.

The Pairs Cup winners for 2019 are Tim Dickson and Norman Hampel.

In second place are Mary Ward and Steve Way.

Well done to all pairs who played together over the year.
