Stoke Poges Bridge Club

When we reopened in Sept 2021 we moved to a single payment to cover both Annual subscription and weekly table money. For the first 14 weeks we charged £30, uncertain to both our likely income and costs.

We have reviewed the costs and the next payment will be £20 for the quarter until the end of September. Club bank transfer details are available from Bruce.

Thank you to all who have paid their £20. If you have not been able to yet please remember you can pay by cash, cheque or bank transfer asap. Call me on 07802715725 if you need details.

Play will start as usual at 1.30. Please be in time to sort out partners and tables etc. The kitchen will not be is use for hot drinks but you can get water there. Hand sanitiser is available and we expect you to be sensible about keeping safe . Do not come if you feel unwell.

ANOTHER COMPLAINT ABOUT THE TRAVELLERS. IT IS HARD TO READ SOME OF YOUR WRITING !!   'W'  and 'N' are almost identical on some score sheets. Guess work is used by scorer in many cases. Also please put how many tricks made in any hand.

Please make sure you put your hand back in the right place as soon as you finish playing it, It is better to keep the board on the table facing in the right direction while you play to avoid this happening.

Welcome to Stoke Poges

Welcome to the Stoke Poges Bridge Club website.  We are located in the heart of the village.

Playing in the main hall of St Andrew's Church, Rogers Lane. Turn into Rogers Lane by the Village Hall and go along to the car park for St. Andrews, which is on THE LEFT.

The club opened in January 2008 and welcomes players of all standards.  We are very friendly and have attracted players from the village and from further afield.  Playing on Monday afternoons from 1.30pm - 5pm, we complement other clubs in the South Bucks area operating on alternative weekdays.

St Andrew's has some on site parking with bus stops close by for those using the local network.

We welcome players to come and give us a try.  We will always organise a partner for visitors so do not be afraid to turn up on your own.  Your first visit is completely free.  We do not use the kitchen for hot drinks at the moment and do not have a prolonged break. Bring your own refreshment if required.
