This year’s winners of the Club’s most prestigious competition, the Phil Young Trophy were Steve Brown and Peter Steele, runners up, Terry McCarron and Paul Davies, who were also the Handicap Pairs winners. Once again, competition will be fierce in 2025/6.

Winner of the best individual was Peter with Harriet Dinwoodie second. Best individual handicap was Harriet with Paul second.

Top Masterpoint scorer was Peter Steele and top slam maker was Harriet Dinwoodie, with a number of different partners. Bet they all had a few tense moments!

Best handicap performance above personal NGS was Michelle Davies.

The club depends on its members and Mike Brewer and Dave King were recognised for their continuing attendance commitment and they were jointly runners up in the Handicap Pairs competition, well done. Margaret Stoker was applauded for her willingness to keep the club sessions playable by partnering almost all the club’s members at some point during the year.
