The parties were:

Thursday 14th December Robin's lesson group got the SBC Christmas party season started. Five tables with a fun movement of 18 hands specially prepared by Robin on topics covered in the recent lessons. Pupils came away with commentaries on the hands.  A very big thank you to Robin for a great deal of hard work.
Friday 15th December Friday night players party was a fun teams event organised by David. It all worked so well, after a message going adrift Phil and Helena saved the day to allow David's planned table movement to work perfectly! Due to the icy conditions sadly the last few boards had to be abandoned so that players could get home safely.
Tuesday 19th December The main event to which all were invited. 43 attended and so David ran a pivot teams 10 tables and that allowed both Janet and John Andrews to sit in on some of the hands.
Prizes were awarded by Michael for the winning team and the team coming second, on a point-a-boards scoring (as for the Friday party). Prizes for Benji & Digger and other miscellaneous.  Janet and her team provided a very good meal, enjoyed by all.
Wednesday 20th December The final SBC Christmas party, the Wednesday afternoon player's self catering party. Some very good food enjoyed by the 30 players, Mary Berry had had quite an influence.  A normal movement for this party but with a longer interval than usual to enjoy the spread along with a glass of wine.  Pat took pictures that will be added to the website shortly.

Pictures by David, Pat and Robin.  Please ask them if you would like a copy of an original full size picture.
