There are now two ways to reach the club,either:

• Fast arrival from the home page (shown at the top here) click on "club page info" or
• Start with your normal BCL login page. Hover over the "Members" tab and click "Clubs" on the drop down list (shown below).

With the old scenic route you meed to hover over members and then click clubs but you will end up in the same place.

Either:

take the fast arrival route by clicking white arrow on blue background, provided you are a registered member of Stafford on BCL 

or

take the scenic route by clicking on Stafford Bridge Club UK, well down the alphbetically ordered list!  Both take you to the same place

On the right hand side of this page, not shown here, are the list of Stafford members registered with BCL, make sure your alias is there you will not be able to play in this virtual club if it is not..  Take the oppotunity to set up members whom you might wish to play with as "friends" by clicking their alias and then "set as friend" (bottom left), that way you can easily see if they are on line with BCL.

The current server time, since 14/10/20, now works on UK local time throughout the year!

The section under "F2FOnline Club Sessions" shows several items of interest.   If you want to enter the Friday session click the "Play Bridge ♥" button under Friday.  Note the Room Name as that is the Room you will you will be looking for to find your friends. At the time of writing, 24/09/20, this is STAFRD 5-B-3, things may yet change while BCL perfects the system with experience.

The whole page is under BCL control, your webmaster may not be showing the latest info here.  The latest "sequence of events" is an important section to read on your actual journey to the club room, what is shown here on this SBC webpage page may already be out of date.  Regular players may wish to read the Service Notes & Updates section.

On a Friday please reach this point and click Enter your F2F Club Rooms in good time to be seated by 6:55 p.m..to be sure of a game.  

Note the options at the bottom of this page.

Enter the room marked with the code that appeared earlier when you selected to play on Friday, at the time of writing this was STAFRD 5-B-3, while under development by BCL the code may change but STAFRD should remain fixed.  Select the correct room and take your seat in the usual way.  You must be seated before 6:55 p.m. to be assured of a game as no half tables are allowed.  Stand by pair will sit down between 6:55 and 6:58 if there is a half table at that time.

Note the "refresh" button along the top, this screen may need to be refreshed from time to time to see the latest situation, number of members present for example.

When you enter the room either you or your partner needs to "enter the tournament" sitting North, the other to sit in the South chair opposite and you both then need to complete your SSD.  Once you have done this you will be moved to a table in the movement and your first round opponents witll join you provided you are not the last pair to arrive and have made up a final half table.  Please note the refresh button on this screen, this screen will not update automatically you need to press the refresh button to see the latest information.
