Lesson 3rd February 2022, specially designed to illustrate bidding strong hands, the boards were not played at a regular club session,  click here to see the notes in a printable form  Note that "show answer" buttons are showing Robin's comments on the bidding and play rather than actual answers, there are no questions to answer! Hand 1 - Cue bids

South bids a standard 2NT. He needs a heart honour to do this. North just bids 3♥ (a jump to 4♥ would be weaker !). Cue bids are followed by a jump to 7♥. 2NT Jacoby should be 12+ points, and not a very distributional hand.
