MEMBERS’ WELFARE

If you know of any member of the club who is unwell please let either Pat Martin or a member of the committee know so that appropriate wishes can be sent on behalf of all members.
The quickest response will be to tell either Pat Martin or any member of the committee at the bridge session then a card can be signed & posted immediately. Alternatively, you can email the secretary.

Club Reopening
RESUMPTION OF DUPLICATE SESSIONS AT THE CLUB
RESUMPTION OF DUPLICATE SESSIONS AT THE CLUB

Duplicate sessions have resumed at the Club as follows:

  • Tuesday evenings 7.00 for a 7.15 started Tuesday August 10th 
  • Wednesday afternoons 1.15 for a 1.30 started Wednesday August 11th

There will be no sessions at the club on other weekdays for the time being, apart from bridge lessons which are resuming on Thursday mornings.

Evening sessions will operate within a basic level of anti-covid protection
Afternoon sessions will operate within a high level of anti-covid protection.   Face masks must be worn when away from a table.  Strict protocols will be followed to ensure the maximum degree of safety for members.   Places for afternoon sessions as at 03/09/21 no longer need to be booked but if you need further information please contact Terry the Club Captain Terry Maltby, by email or telephone 01889 801996.

In future, no table money will be collected at Club sessions.   Players will be billed retrospectively per month.   This system is already in use for our online sessions. 

Online sessions will continue on Monday afternoons and Friday evenings.   The Committee will keep the overall pattern of sessions under regular review.
