| Shelley 2024/25 - Round 4 Thursday 20th March |
 Fourth round of the Shelley at Haling Dene - played on Thursday 20th March
Four rounds now played, October, November, December and March. With only 4 teams Terry deals 4 sets of boards so easy to play without having to pass boards round. David kept an ear alert to silence any post-mortem discussion, not an easy task!

Carols team in the lead with cumulative score of +34, second Janet's team with -5, third Michael's team with -6 and fourth Ann's team with -23. All to play for in the last two rounds, April 17th and May 15th - make sure you mark the dates in your diary asap!
Many thanks to David for directing and scoring and Terry for all the dealing (4 sets of boards!!!) and handicap calculations. As ever the evening went very smoothly, no problems with results uploaded be 10 p.m.

| Many, Many congratulations Robin and Dave |
Robin and Dave, playing on RealBridge, came top in the Midlands regional area heat of the EBU National Pairs competition played over 48 boards on 23rd March 2025. This followed their success in the Midlands regional qualifier session on 11th March at Haling Dene. We wish them all the best in the National final on April 12th/13th when they will be playing nearly 100 boards against other top Midlands ranking players and the top ranking players from Eastern, Northern, South East and South West regions!

Lessons are now at Tixall village Hall, ST18 0XT at 9:45 for 10 a.m.
Lessons:
- Robin's intermediate lessons: Thursday morning lessons. On 1st Thursday of the month this will will normally be played as a duplicate session.
- Terry's Improvers lessons: Friday morning lessons. On 3rd Friday of the month this will will normally be played as a duplicate session.
