 8 Stafford members are, as at 10th April, in the top three placed teams in the SSCBA league division 1. 3 matches left to play. Robin and Geoff in the "Cutler" Team lying first, Dave, Bethan and Craig in the "Nelson" team and Anne, Kath and John H in the "Seymour" team.

 Members please note Annual Subscriptions become due on April 1st. Members should have received the information direct from the treasurer on 27th March following the decision at the AGM to keep the table money and annual subscription the same as last year, see how to pay the club.

The AGM took place on Thursday 26th March AFTER a morning Duplicate session and was attended by 25 members. Considerable discussion on several topics, Very briefly, new constitution accepted, table money to stay at £3 and some changes to the committee. More information shortly.

| Stafford Online BCL Thursday evening Bridge Club |

If you would like to give Bridge Club Live a try click here for the basic instructions, around 27 SBC members are active on BCL. A Stafford BCL virtual SBC club runs on Thursday evenings and a friendly BCL club runs on Tuesday mornings. The SSCBA set up a County wide Bridge Base Online virtual club that meets on Wednesday evenings, see here for advice on how to get started with BBO. A new third option is RealBridge where Newcastle Under Lyme, EBU and Midlands regional events take place. Please don't see these as either/or options but rather as different ways of enjoying online bridge which add variety to your game.
