Bridge lessons

Lessons have finished for the summer. Members of Colin's improver class are now being encouraged to join regular sessions. It is our job to welcome them into the club and to be kind, considerate and gentle!! It is these new members who are the future of this club.

Lessons will start for beginners on 21st September and 23rd September for improvers.

Top tip

We have had this tip before, but it is always good to repeat:

A claim to winning the remaining tricks should be accompanied by a clear statement of the line of play through which the claimer proposes to win the tricks claimed INCLUDING the order in which the cards are to be played. If there is no clear statement offered or if it is doubted by any player, the director should immediately be called and no action or discussion should take place pending their arrival. Full details is provided in laws 69 and 70
