Wednesday night is Teams Night!

After the success of the Teams League, the committee has decided to hold a Teams evening on Wednesdays.

Come along with a partner and you will be put into a team (or you can come along as a team of four if you prefer)

The new session will run from this Wednesday, 4th March at 7.15pm.

This will be run as a trial session to gauge its popularity so your support is needed.

Mixed Teams Competition

Wednesday, 11th at 7.15pm

You will need to enter as a team of four with at least one male and one female in each team

Please add your names to the list - another chance to get your name in 'lights'

Membership fees

Your annual subscription of £20, which includes your personal membership to The English Bridge Union, was due on 1^st January 2026. If you have yet to pay, please do so at your earliest convenience.

Please pay as follows, with your name and EBU number as reference:

- By bank transfer to Southend & Leigh Bridge Club, Sort Code 55-50-28, Account Number 69861021

- By cheque or cash, payable to 'Southend and Leigh Bridge Club'. Please drop it into the Treasurer's box at the club or post it to Petra Bromfield, 272 Benfleet Road, Benfleet SS7 1PS

The committee greatly appreciates if all subs are paid by 31^st January as we plan to print a new members' handbook in February 2026.

It is suggested that you check last year's handbook to ensure your details are correct. Please reply to this email with any changes or if you don't want your details included in the handbook. Deadline for inclusion in the handbook is 9^th February 2026.
