As per the by-laws of South Bay Bridge Club, Inc., the term of the board members is for a two-year period.  The current board has been serving since June 2019.  Consequently, the current board has been serving for two and a half years.  The election of the board members should have been in June of 2021, however, due the challenges of the pandemic, the election of the board was postponed.

It is, however, time to elect a new board.  The by-laws specifies for a board at least 7 members.  The current board members are:

                Janice Scholler                                        Laura Gastelum

                Booth Tarkington                                                            

Sheryl Kohlhoff (The Club Manager automatically serves on the board)

Ray Mack and Ernie Frank both served on the board until their death.

The organization accepted all of the members to serve on the current board since any help in the administration of the club was and continues to be greatly appreciated.

To commence the process of electing a new board for a two-year term (January 2022 – December 2023), attached is a form for your consideration.  The form consists of two sections:

1.  Self-Nominating Section
2. Nominating a fellow member of the club

Please review this form and if you are interested in serving on the board or if you want to submit the name of another member, please complete the appropriate section.  Please submit the completed form to Janice Scholler, Secretary of the Corporation, by November 30, 2021.  You can either bring it to the club, or complete the form an email it to scholler.janice@gmail.com.  The current board will review the submissions and decide the next steps.
