Welcome to Southam Bridge Club

The club meets online, each Wednesday evening from 7pm until about 9pm, with invitational links sent to members beforehand.

Visitors and new members are welcome. Those accustomed only to playing in person, should not be daunted by playing online.

The technology is simple and has a number of advantages - instant results, seeing what opponents have played, possible contracts, and no chance of revoking or playing out of turn. You can also play the hands again later if desired. A typical example of a hand in play (not from our club) is shown below.

They just keep getting better

Congratulations to three of our pairs who achieved their highest-ever scores during 2025, with Diana and John Wright leading the way with a massive 73.96% on 7 May.  Anne and John Pritchard clocked up a mighty 69.53 on 5 March and Elizabeth Barker and Peter Marriott set off the fireworks on the Fifth of November with 67.71.

Fliss Hall and Rob Small recorded the highest average score for the full year by a considerable margin with just over 57%, while Ros and Tony Reeves brought home the most slams, eight, a strike rate of nearly one in four appearances. Can anyone be bold enough to beat that in 2026?

Meanwhile, Jo and Jim Simons have set a hot pace this year with a record-breaking 80.2% score in February.
