| Ann Bawdon |
Ann passed away on 16 April. She had a stroke in December and had been suffering from cancer, but this was not expected so soon. Ann did a lot for the County in the organising and running of the West of England Congress in previous years, and was Secretary and partner-finder for Nailsea Bridge Club.

The Annual General Meeting of SCBA will held at Cossington Village Hall on Sunday 3rd May at 1pm, followed by bridge (pairs). Please register your intention to attend here so we can assess numbers.

| Woodspring Swiss Pairs |
Woodspring Swiss Pairs, organised by Kingston Seymour and Clevedon & Portishead bridge clubs, was held at Kingston Seymour village hall on 19th April and was a great success. The event of 15 tables was well run and raised £265 for a local charity. It was won by Susie Lovell and Steve Tomlinson (Results).
