We have now reached the halfway point of Stage 1 in our basic ACOL bidding lessons and will be soon going into stage 2 of the lessons.
In Stage 2 we help the participants by introducing all the different aspects of card play phase required to play bridge (please see attached document that details the content we cover and the dates when these will conducted).
These Stage 2 lessons are always very popular, and it does attract more participants into the class. The good news is – we do have spare capacity (although it will be limited) to accommodate a few more players.
As previously suggested, by conducting these lessons, we are also assisting ALL Bridge Clubs (even if you do or do not conduct your own ‘’in club’’ lessons), as not only is it a chance for current members to recap and improve their game, but also you can boost your existing membership, by having more players in your particular region who can play the game.
Therefore, we are once again asking for your help by:
· Placing the attached poster and outline of the lesson content on your club notice board and website,
· Emailing your membership asking them to inform everybody they know about these lessons (or simply forward on this email)
· If you or any of your members are willing to place this poster on any social media sites or any suitable public place(s), then that would also be of great assistance
Lessons will be every Tuesday on ZOOM as from 22nd November and will start at 2pm and repeated again at 7.15pm on the same evening and will be limited to 100 places at each lesson. If anybody needs more information, or simply wants to enrol their place, then you can either email myself or Des King directly.
As the content of the lessons are individually formatted, they are also suitable for those players who wish to cherry pick, any or all of the lessons they prefer to attend.
Please Note; All those participants completing the stage 1 lessons will automatically be enrolled for the stage 2 lessons.
