Guide Dogs for the Blind

Another of the guide dogs sponsored by Shifnal Chorale has achieved successful completion of his training and been given to a new owner to help them cope with their disability.

Buddy is the second guide dog we have sponsored to achieve this goal. Buddy passed his final assessment last October and was passed on to his new owner Alex last month. He has settled into his new home helping Alex with getting around and managing his life.

Our first sponsored guide dog was Bonnie who was given to a new owner in 2017 and we are now sponsoring a new guide dog puppy called Bailey who will, hopefully, also qualify as a guide dog in another couple of years.

We will keep you updated with Bailey’s progress in future months.
