The aim of Village Web will be to provide useful information to residents and to be a forum for meeting and exchanging news.

The Home Page, Activities Overview and Defibrillator - How To Use are the only pages available unless you have been given access. To have access to further pages you must become a member of Village Web, to do this you MUST email webmaster@sgpra.org.uk with your First Name, Surname, Internal Phone Number and Address. When logged in Members can use the Social Media features that are attached to each article, the speech bubble allows comments to be left, permitting information to be corrected or improved. Click Here for more information on using Social Media

Village Web is intended to be a resource to assist all residents to find useful information that will help to making living in the village more enjoyable. This can only happen if information is published and this is where you, the resident, can help. Send your useful information be it a picture, document (pdf, word file, or website-link), poster, announcement or a correction to webmaster@sgpra.org.uk. Please include your name and contact details. At the bottom of each article there are red and green thumbs and a speech bubble. These symbols allow interaction between users of the Website. This interaction is the basis of Social Media.
For example the speech bubble could be used to invite a fellow member to one of the activities or to join a group or team such as bridge. This is done by posting a request in the particular active information page. Similarly it could be used to highlight incorrect information or for additions to enhance user experience. To use this feature you must be logged in.

As part of our on-line community it is necessary to observe a few house rules to ensure everyone has a positive, informative and safe experience.

When using these features:
You agree:  To be respectful and courteous. Everyone will have different opinions.

You agree: Not to post comments of a discriminatory nature i.e. racist comments, ageist, sexist or homophobic nature
                Not to use vulgar or abusive language.
                Not to use the 'Comments' feature to threaten or harass others using the website.
                Not to incite arguments, inflame others for reactions.
                Not to type words entirely in capital letters. This is regarded as the equivalent of shouting.
