Important Club Information

Please note that prior booking is required to attend the midsummer barbecue and bridge on Wednesday 24th June from 6pm

It is important that you DO NOT arrive BEFORE 6pm in order that appropriate preparations can be carried out. 

The cost is one voucher for the barbecue (which must be paid in advance so we know numbers) and one voucher for bridge as usual.

GUIDELINES FOR RESTARTING FACE-TO-FACE BRIDGE

The following proposals are made with the safety of SBC members as the main concern:

  1. Any members playing F2F bridge will be expected to have had both vaccines

  1. Do not attend the Club if you are feeling unwell

  1. Face coverings should be worn until you are seated at your table and when moving around the hall. The wearing of face coverings during play is optional

  1. It would be helpful if you could bring the correct amount and avoid coins of less than 50p in value

  1. On arrival members should avoid congregating in the entrance foyer. Please hang up coats and then move quickly into the main hall

  1. Hand sanitiser will be available at every table

  1. EW players will take their bidding boxes with them as they travel around the room

  1. The kitchen will be closed. Members wanting a drink should bring their own

  1. Windows and doors will be open for ventilation so please ensure that you wear appropriate clothing

  1. Handwash, paper towels and hand sanitiser will be available for use in the toilets
